The following pages have been put together mainly from the recollections of my mother, Joan Green (nee Edna Joan Sykes) and Des Sykes, her older brother by 14 years, before their deaths, and Jean Roper, my mother's cousin.

It commences with my great grandparents, Eliza and William Minogue, arriving in Wentworth in the early 1860s, and concludes with Joan, Maureen and Des Sykes leaving Wentworth with their respective families.
