Wendy

Wendy Anne Green (named after Wendy from Peter Pan), first child of Bill and Joan Green, was born in Melbourne in 1943. The family moved to Wentworth in 1944, living at the Commercial Hotel, and a few years later moving to a fruit block, in Curlwaa, two miles from Wentworth.

Wendy started school at the local state school in Curlwaa, riding her bike at the age of five. The following year, a bus service allowed here to attend the catholic primary school in Wentworth.

The family left Wentworth in 1954, and stayed in Geelong for a year, with Bill Green's parents.

In 1955 the family moved to 25 Doris street Greensborough, and Wendy, Peter and Michael attended the newly built St. Marys combined church and school.

In 1960? Wendy began her secondary schooling at Loreto convent, Mandeville. She enjoyed English, etc.

She started work at the Heidelberg library, and trained as a librarian... ?

In 1966? after several trips to London, Wendy met Michael Wilson, son of Charles and Marie Wilson from Turramurra in Sydney. They married in Sydney in the following year, and moved to Eltham. In 1970 Anna Stephanie was born and in 1972 Aaron Charles

Michael was a trained teacher, and taught for a few years at Watsonia Technical School. He began making Jewellery from home, and in 19xx set up a shop in Eltham. In 19xx Mike won the Gown of the Year award. Wendy helped to run the gold and silversmithing business, and in 19xx they built an architect designed house and gallery in Main Street Eltham.

Anna and Aaron attended the Eltham catholic primary school, Anna going on to Genazzano and Mandeville, Aaron to Xavier.

Anna attended Swinburne as a graphic design student, and after working for several agencies, set up her own Illustration business. Aaron began working at Telstra, and is now working as a cleaner (?) in his parents business.

In 1995? Mike and Wendy opened a second shop in Little Collins street in the city.

In 1998 Anna married Scott Walker, an interior designer, and they lived in Carlton. Aaron in 1999 announced his engagement to Juliet Thingo...
